Call for Nominations: APFG 2026 Awards

Asia-Pacific Federation on Giftedness (APFG)  


Dear APFG Members,

The APFG Executive Committee warmly invites you to nominate individuals for the APFG 2026 Awards.

These awards aim to promote excellence in research, teaching, and related activities in gifted education in the Asia-Pacific region.

How to Submit a Nomination


  1. Use a Gmail Account

    The nomination form can only be accessed via a Gmail account. If you do not have one, please create a free account by searching “Create a Gmail account” in your preferred browser.

  2. Read the Instructions PDF

    Please refer to the attached PDF document, which includes:


    • An overview of the four award categories

    • Eligibility and nomination requirements

    • A list of documents to prepare (e.g., nomination letter, supporting documents, images, or short videos)



  3. Prepare All Required Materials

    Ensure you have gathered all necessary files before beginning the submission.

  4. Complete the Google Form

    Click the following link to access the form and submit your nomination:

Upon successful submission, you will see the message: “Your response has been recorded.”

Announcement: APCG2026 Gifthone Competition

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the APCG2026 Gifthone — a global innovation marathon for gifted youth, young professionals, and innovators!

About Gifthone:

The Gifthone is a hackathon designed to inspire bold, creative problem-solving and drive transformative solutions to global education challenges. Participants will work in dynamic teams to tackle issues across four key focus areas:

◆ Student & Faculty – The Human Core

◆ Pedagogy – The Quality of Education

◆ Infrastructure – The Enabling Environment

◆ Resources & Materials – The Content Ecosystem

We are excited to announce that the 19th Asia-Pacific Conference on Giftedness (APCG 2026) will be held from February 7 to 11 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.



Registration is now open, and all are welcome to participate.

The Asia-Pacific Federation on Giftedness (APFG) is happy to invite bids to host the 2028 Asia-Pacific Conference on Giftedness (APCG). This conference is a unique platform that supports global conversations amongst practitioners and researchers about gifted and talented education, whilst supporting connections amongst gifted and talented youth through the Youth Summit. 

We provide details about key areas to be included in the bid proposal, and related information about the APCG in the attached pdf.

The dateline for the submission of the bid proposal is 31st July 2025.
